Creating a pdf/ps album of jpeg images

I need to create a photo album from jpeg files, in ps/pdf format.

I tried ImageMagick and other utilities, like jpeg2ps, but I'm not sure abuot their syntax, nor whether they're the right programs to use.

What should I do?

Eachimage should be inserted into 1 A4 page, vertically

Thanks for your attention

The Gimp is good in converting image files into ps.
Try that way

Openoffice will do this for you:
Start Openoffice.
Start a new document,
Insert... Picture... From File
Resize the picture until you are happy with it.
Start a new page. Insert more pictures.
Then File... Export as pdf
Export the file.
You are finished.
Easy, No?

Well, I have more than 100 files, and I'd have liked to have a program able to convert all them, in this way:

$ create-album *.jpg -o album.ps

I already used OO for that, but I had 15 files, is gimp able to use wildcards? or I have to open files separetely?

Anyway I could always write a shell script...
