creating a monster (wine)

I'm kinda new to linux and have never really played with wine, since I have a dual boot system(FC4 and win98se). but I got this curiousity kinda idea, like I get quite often, and now I have to see if there's any way I can really get it to work... I'm using wine 0.9.2. I have this crazy idea of mounting my windows partition to the .wine folder and trying to get wine to run on the real windows partition...now in effect the end result I'm trying to create would be possibly installing a program so that one installation can be run from both wine and windows, depending on what OS I happen to be running at the time. what I'm curious about is is there any reason wine wouldn't agree with the real windows partition? would the windows registry cause any kinda problems with wine? what other problems might come up between the two? Any thoughts on the differances/contridictions between the two would be welcome, and ways around them would be even more welcome. If anybody has ever actually tried this, let me know how it turned out.

thanks,

Sir
