create a symbolic link in Mozilla

I'm using SUE 9.1 with KDE 3.2.

Visiting the bbc.co.uk website to catch up on the latest G8 happenings and would like to watch the video presentation - I have RealPlayer 10.0 for Linux install and it works fine in a standalone method - however when I click on the link to open to link and stream etc etc I get the "missing plug-in messsage".

Now, I've managed to create a symbolic link for java runtime environment and it works as well (feel quite smug) - however the way to do this with real player is beyond me at the moment -

If anybody can detail a clear, step by step method of doing this I'd be extremely grateful :)

IMHO you're best off using mplayerplug-in for mplayer to play realvideo files all embedded and such. looking at my realplayer insatll, looks like you can just create abother symlink from wherever the realplayer plugin is, e.g. /opt/RealPlayer/mozilla/nphelix.so or /opt/Realplayer9/WBPlugin/nprealplayer.s0.6.0 or whatever your install gives you.

ln -s /opt/Realplayer/....... /opt/mozilla/plugins
