cpuspeed?

hi all,

I am trying to track down a lnifty little program that is/was called cpuspeed
it used to be found on http://www.pure.homelinux.com/cpuspeed
but doesn't seem to be there anymore.

does anyone have it or can let me know where I can find it?

any sor of similar program that can throttle and change my cpu frequency would do, especially if it allows me to take advantage of all of my asus laptop buttons/lights would do.

thx

smerk.

You dont need software to change the CPU speed, just acpi support. acpi.sourceforge.net Should be informative

mm... already have acpi, cpuspeed is a nice little set of scripts that automates frequency change when ac is unplugged (laptop) and so on.

I am an absolute noob when it comes to programming/script writing. and this script did almost everything i wanted

thx for the input tho!
