CPU speed limiters for WINE?

Okay, I know that this sounds like an odd and redundant request, but does anyone know if there exists a function of or a program to run alongside WINE that can change the CPU to an arbitrary speed? The reason I ask is because I have some Win32 based games that have elements which "run too fast" (other than that, they seem to have no problem running in WINE ).
