Thanks for you quick response. Perhaps I was not clear with my question.
The Maricopa County Library offers 14 day audio book downloads (
www.mcldaz.org). This as you know is legal. The audio book is downloaded in chapters and is designed to be played on a computer or using windows media player or synced to a mp3 player. A mp3 player has been around for 10 or more years and plays audio tunes. The Mp3 player is loaded via a usb cable which the computer looks at it as a mass storage device. The library uses a software to download. The software is oneclickdigital.com.
1. When used with my name and password on a windows 7 based computer the downloaded zip file is extracted as a series of mp3 files.
2. When used with my name and password on a Linux 12.10 based computer the downloaded zip file is extracted as a series of wma files.
The ubuntu does not play wma files. It would appear that the ubuntu unzip file does not work properly.
The ubuntu tries to load the movie player with the wma file. This is the wrong ubuntu program.
Does any one have experience in solving this problem?
