could not access GDM configuration file error
hi all,
couple of days back I updated Gnome 2.10 to 2.12 on my Fedora Core 4 distribution.
After updating i am facing couple of problems which r as follow:
1) I cannot access the login screen utility in system settings menu. I tried to run 'gdmsetup' on console and received the following error:
Could not access GDM configuration file.
[root@c199b ahsan]# gdmsetup
Could not access GDM configuration file.
[root@c199b ahsan]# whereis gdm.conf
gdm: /usr/sbin/gdm /usr/share/gdm /usr/share/man/man1/gdm.1.gz
I tried to change the permissions of configuration file but it didn't help me out.
can anybody tell me what can i do in this regard?
Also after the upgradation I can't see the Trash icon on my KDE desktop.
Please help me out!
