Corrupted LILO boot manager Floppy, Help!
Folks,
I inadvertently started to reformat my boot floppy used to open my options of booting Win98 or Suse 8.0. This has now made it impossible to boot into Linux. How can I create a new boot floppy to address this issue?

Do you have a Linux installation cd? Can be any distro, in fact. Boot into "rescue" mode, then mount your main Linux partition (let's say it's /dev/hda5):
mkdir /mnt/main
mount -t ext2 /dev/hda5 /mnt/main
Now look how does your /mnt/main/etc/lilo.conf look like (it's your /etc/lilo.conf when you boot to Linux the normal way):
cat /mnt/main/etc/lilo.conf|less
See if there's 'boot=/dev/fd0' line. If it is, chroot to you main partition (chroot command changes /):
chroot /mnt/main
Now insert a new boot floppy into your floppy drive and install boot program on it:
lilo
Reboot and test if the new bootdisk works correctly.

Dillutedmind, it comes with time. The same with NVIDIA drivers. When you success once, it becomes easy. I've browsed you post list and there's no current state of your problem (no error message as I can see).
