I am running Debian (stable) and I am following the guide at
http://wiki.osuosl.org/display/DEV/Java+on+Debian to install Java. However, when I run the .bin file and it goes through the script, I get an error saying I need to have about 100mb free and that I should free up this space and run the script again. This is quite puzzling since I should have about 8-10gb free. So after looking through the script to see how it determines the free space, I do a "df" and this is what it gives me:
# df
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda2 -2533634431554 1 0 11% /
I am no expert, but that does not look like proper output data. Does anyone know what may have caused this, or more importantly, how to fix it? Thanks in advance...
