Correcting e-mails in Evolution 1.4.5

I'm using Red Hat 9 and I've installed evolution using Ximian's Red Carpet. I've also downloaded and installed aspell,aspell-en and aspell-es, but the corrector doesn't seem to work. I've tried to configure evolution but I can't add any spell dictionary because I can't see one.I've also tried to see if there is any option in gnome about spell checking, but I did'n see any.
Anybody can help me wit this?
