Arrow Core poniter problems with fglrx xorg.conf


Hi, ive just used fglrxconfig to make me a new Xorg.conf file because my old one wonted me to set framebuffers and no one seem to have an awnser on how to fix it, but now i get this error when trying startx,
FATAL: error inserting fglrx
(/lib/modules/2.6.9/video/fglrx.ko):invaild module format [drm] failed to load kernel module "fglrx" (EE) fglrx(0)RIscreenInit failed!
(EE) xf86openserial: cannot open device /dev/mouse, no such file r directory
(EE) mouse1: cannot open input device
(EE) PreInit failed fir input device "mouse1"
Fatal server error:
Failed to intitize core devices.


Sorry i cant post the whole log i had to write that all out by hand and that toke me along time the whole log would take me forever.

What i did was i used the original xorg.conf that worked fine before installing fglrx. Under the "Device" section i just changed Driver "radeon" to "fglrx" and it worked fine. I didn't run fglrxconfig at all. You might want to try that. If you use xorg 6.8 you also need to add

Option "no_dri" "yes"

Btw, i did run into the problem you're facing several times after trying out fglrxconfig.
