copying only "some" URLs between machines
I want to be able to copy some bookmarks between machines without all the bookmarks being copied or the bookmark file being overwritten.

Yes, I could copy each URL I want to copy into an email/file, but that gets cumbersome and I'm lazy. I want an easier way to do it.

Any suggestions?

Just copying the existing bookmarks.html file overwrites the bookmarks where I'm trying to copy. Also, one computer has an older version of Firefox which doesn't use the .sqlite style.

Open bookmarks.html in a text editor and delete the lines you don't want to copy. To prevent overwriting bookmarks on the destination machine, use the import function in firefox.
