Copying files to pendrive

HEllo!

I have problems to copy some directories to my pendrive.

This directories are in UPPERCASE in the harddisk, when I copy them to the pendrive, the directory it's created in lowercase in the usb pendrive. The problem that these are special directories for medical image, which contain a file with the path of all the images, and in the path de name of the directory is in uppercase, but in reallity the directories are in lowercase in the pendrive. There is any way to create the directories in UPPERCASE in a pendrive ?

I'm using mandriva 2006

Thanks in advance for your help

I think you have to reformat the pen drive with an ext3 filesystem. I think the FAT32 filesystem doesn't pay attention to case, IIRC. Note I've never tried this, but it should be doable. Of course, then the stick isn't good for anything except your linux box...
