I have compared the disks and the copy has everything on it.

How'd you create the first 'copies'?
Try using dd to create the image:
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/home/iso/cd1.iso
And so on. If you get errors, try:
dd conv=noerror if=/dev/cdrom of=/home/iso/cd1.iso
And give them images a go. Maybe they are write protecting them? Always use CDRW's until you get it sussed out, don't wanna waste perfectly good CDR's
Cool

Burn an iso in linux:
cdrecord -scanbus
cdrecord dev=x,x,x speed=x -v -eject /path/to/iso/filename.iso
Where dev=x,x,x is what you find from cdrecord -scanbus. And speed=x is the max speed
Cool
