copy movie

I have managed to copy a movie to my hard drive. But none of the methods that I have tried like growisofs or k3b enables me to transfer the movie to a blank disk. How is it done?

Why can't you transfer the movie to disk? Do the programs give you error messages, or can you make the copy but it doesn't play? Are you simply trying to burn the file straight to disk, or are you processing it first in some way? How exactly did you copy the movie to HD in the first place and what format is it in? It's impossible to give you any answers without knowing what you did and what happened in more detail.

Using growisofs, I get the following message:
:-[ READ DVD STRUCTURE #10h failed with SK=8h/ASC=ABh/ACQ=80h]: Input/output error

When I use k3b, after the disk is copied, I get the message that it cannot eject the disk, and it then erases the image.
