Hi,

Do you mean you can't select a text in, say, Firefox, & paste it into OOO's Writer? On both methods? Either mouse right-clicks or Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V?

I can copy and paste on browser

i can copy a link and past it to another link, but only on the browser.

but I can't not longer do this to copy a link and past to Open office word, and I dont know why, but I do know since I have change the setting's have mention above, I cannot longer do this task.

did you have any clue why not, or what happen?
why office word docent support any more copy and paste?
how can i get back same setting I have before?

again I still can do copy and paste but only on the browser "only"

Thank you

OK, back-track a bit. Could you please define a little more on:

"This is what I did:
System------> Administration --->Software Sources ---->
Ubuntu Software ---->Source Code------> That it"

What exactly have you changed? Possible to undo what you've done & test?

It would help if you explained how you are copying and pasting, for example:
  • Edit->Copy and Edit->Paste
  • Selection and middle mouse button click
  • Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V
  • Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V
Have you tried the various copy and paste methods in more than just Firefox and OOo Writer (not Word!) applications such as a simple text editor, GUI dialog boxes, command prompt? By varying the methods and applications to find out which of them does and doesn't work, we can get a better idea of what might be broken and hence how to fix it.
