copy&paste mozilla -> openoffice and vice versa

during my work I have often to copy and paste from mozilla to openoffice-writer or the other way round.
Sometimes (seldom) it works, sometimes only a part of the text is transferred, most often nothing.
Tried ctrl-c & ctrl-v as well as left/middle mouse buttons etc.

Running RedHat 8 with KDE.

Thanks a lot,

yes, copy/paste in linux (kde) can be a chore. sometimes you have to repeatedly do ctrl-c to get it to the clipboard. try looking at your klipper tool to see if it did make it to the clipboard and select the copy entry from there. klipper is usually docked in your taskbar, but if it isn't it's in Utilities of your K Menu.
