convert realplayer file (.rm) to .mpg?
I'm doing a group project in communications class and I need to convert a few RealPlayer files (.rm) to another file format so that I can insert them into a Powerpoint presentation. powerpoint supports inserting .avi .wmv .mpg .mpeg and others, but if i can convert .rm to .mpg i'll be set. I would prefer to do it in linux and then just copy the .mpg files to a windoze machine. I'm saving the RealPlayer streams off the internet by doing:
mplayer -noframedrop -dumpfile out.rm -dumpstream rtsp://url/to/file.rm
It would have been beautiful if powerpoint would import a .rm file but no such luck. I run SUSE 10.0
