Question convert a html file in a graphics file (for Oo)

To All:

I'm trying to squeeze a html file into an Oo (OpenOffice)
file. The trouble is Oo does not read html (let me know
if I'm missing a way). I can't convert to a gif or jpeg
file using the Tom Conversion Server, i.e.,

http://wheel.compose.cs.cmu.edu:8001.../browse/objweb .

Is there another way I can get around this problem? Oo
reads bmp, dxp, emf, eps, gif, jpeg, met, pbm, pcd, pct,
pcx, pgm, png, ppm, psd, ras, sgf, sgv, svm, tga, tiff,
wmf, xbm, anDD xpm files. I.e., most graphics file. I
need a way to convert this html file into a graphic file.
Many graphics program including GIMP does not read html
files.

Also, after I convert the html file into a graphics file,
I probably need to trim (clip) it. Is there an easy way
to do it (prefer not to use a complicated program like
GIMP to do this simple job).

Thanks in advance for any help.

A HTML file is not a graphics file (as all other file formats you listed are), it is a text file describing how a document is layed out hence you will never be able to conert it to graphics. OO has a built in HTML file, just open it with openoffice through file open and hey presto you can edit it.

To insert into an OO word doc:
Insert=>Object=>OLE object, create from file, then input path to file or browse to it. Though you can simply use HTML editor mode to create your document and then save as sxw (OOword file format).

If you absolutely must have it as an image open file in browser then take screenshot

Thank you!

Got it saved as a stw file, and then, read as OLE object file.
