Conversion of outlook .pst file into any Linux mail client format

Hi Friends,

Currently I am using outlook 6 as my mail client. Now I want to move to Linux. But I didnot find any information regarding .pst file conversion.

My specific need for conversion is as follows...

1. I want to convert outlook's ".pst file" into a single file which is readable in linux mail client. This file must also maintain the hierarchy of folders-subfolders.

2. I am not specific to any mail client in Linux. Any mail client which supports this file can be used.

3. I have more than 100 rules in outlook. I also want to move these rules into this new mail client in linux.

If there is no way converting into a single file, then other methods will also be appreciated. But the necessary thing is hierarchy.

Could anyone tell me any info regarding this migration, any free mail client software and the corresponding link?

Thanks in advance,
Mayuresh.

Take a look at KMail. KMail Link I used it to import my windows resident emails. They have a tools page as well. Check it out as well.
