Control konsole window from shell scripts

How can I control the size, position and the Z-order of a terminal window from within a shell script? What i want is to do is to open a new terminal window that will tail the debug file (i use named pipes to direct debug messages to it) while debugging my binaries. I want to control the location and size of this window when it is opened. I managed so far to do this with xterm (xterm -geometry). But what i need now is a way to make that window "allways-on-top"
by the way, i am using KDE (konsole)
