Continuing GENTOO install from Disc 2?

Sooo... I've managed to get my first install of Gentoo working (I think), but I now don't know how to install all the programs from Disc 2. I imagine I de/un-tar them, and then compile? I really am not so sure what to do. Any assistance in this area would be wonderful... also, a link to the packages and what they contain might be of some use as well... Thanks beforehand for any info.

did you install from stage 1 2 or 3?

Ah. Stage 3. Definitely shoulda mentioned that earlier...

the fist thing you ned to know is that the packages i the cd2 are already conpiled you just have to install them, I'm not sure how to do it because I used stage 1 but just go here and read the instructions they say how to do it.
