console graphics editor

Is there a console graphics editor that would perform simple task such as resizing, flipping, rotating and conversion (mainly from bmp to jpg)? I am looking for this because I have to do the above operations on around 80 files, and I thought this tool and a little batch-scripting might do the job.
Or maybe Gimp has a command-line interface that allows this??

Thanks a lot!
