see in the right bottom of the image....
Plz help...thanx a lot for ur valuable time.....
m runnign FC9 on 2.6.26 on an intel machine 32 bit...
Both of those images look like conky, and I'm guessing that Fedora should have an RPM for conky that would make installation a breeze. Have you looked for one? Once you've got it installed, then all you need to do is set up your ~/.conkyrc file to display the stuff you want to.

Thanks for your quick response. First of all I would like to say that it seems to be a bit different on Fluxbox, b'coz I tried installing conky, and I installed some small small apps to add on slitlist[in fluxbox parlance] , but that way you have to keep on installing hell of things to put into ur slitlist and another problem is this is always on top of other windows[i dont think fixing this is a big deal, right?]. I wouuld like someone who is using conky[the one you can see in those links i mentioned in my first post] in fluxbox to come forward and give me some advice or some good links to get that on my FC9 machine. Thank you very much.
OK, you need to start asking some specific questions because it isn't clear at all where you are stuck and what you have tried. Also, apps in the slit have absolutely nothing to do with conky. They are two very distinct things. So have you actually managed to get conky installed? If not, what have you tried and where has it failed? Unless you ask some specific questions, nobody is going to be able to help much.

thanx. i removed the package and tried installilng it through yum and then copied some sample .conkyrc contents from net , now atleast i can see something out there, still i've learn how to modify/add in conkyrc and what exactly all those terms in that file represent.thank you very much.
I found some of the nice .conkyrc files from the following link which i would like to share with all, http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=281865
Congrats! My experience is that getting a conky display I liked was a LOT of trial and error. Although the conky site has a reasonable explanation of what can be displayed, it is kind of lacking in how some of it is displayed, especially graphs and bars. Good luck getting it tweaked to your liking.
