Congigring Apache2 ?

Hi Experts,

I have installed MYSQL, PHP & Apache2 in my Ubuntu. Now, I am having big problem in starting the apache2 web server. I know, I am making some mistake some where. I do not where.

I am giving the settings done in each file. Kindly verify.

httpd.conf
VirtualHost MyMiracles.com

VirtualHost 111.111.111.111

host.conf
VirtualHost 127.0.1.1

localhost 127.0.0.1

hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 vignesh

So, when I give the following command:
vignesh@vignesh:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

I get these instructions:

/etc/host.conf: line 5: bad command `VirtualHost 127.0.1.1'
/etc/host.conf: line 7: bad command `localhost 127.0.0.1 '
* Restarting web server apache2 Syntax error on line 2 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'VirtualHost', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

And I do not know how to solve this for I am completely a newbie.

Hence, kindly help me.
With kind regards,
Kan

You don't define the virtualhost in
Code:
/etc/host.conf
Take a look at
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/vhosts/examples.html
and
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/
