I am using SUSE 10.0 OSS

I tried to add a screen grab, to show repositories but it did not work.
I recently downloaded new repositories in the hope that I would be able to update KDE to KDE 3.5 but when I go to use YAST it either seems to hang on a repository or eaises an error.
Please advise the easiest way of updateing specific software such as oppenoffice or KDE. Also I wanted to obtain plugins for Kaffine, so I downloaded the various RPM files from Packman but when I tried to execute them via YAST, I get " following packages have not been found in the medium" i.e.
libexine1.

I have read that SMART Pakage manager is very good but I have no idea how this works and I have looked on the web site but did not find any useful info. for a beginner like me.

I seem to be getting in to a real muddle with this, just as I thought I was begining to understand alittle about Linux and SuSe.

Please explain in simple terms thanks.

When you setup Packman or the KDE supplementary sites, make sure you enable refreshing of the source. You can enable refreshing by going to YAST -> Software -> Installation Source and selecting the installation source, click on enable/disable refresh.
