conflict issues between libnss3-1 & libnss3-0

Hi everyone, still trying to install flash for my pc, having all sorts of trouble, the last dependency i needed to install flash was libnss3-1, after downloading this patch for ubuntu 8.04, i got an error in the package installer saying "Conflicts with the installed package 'libnss3-0d'" so i attempted to locate that package, but could not locate it, so i downloaded the libnss3-0d package and tried to see if it was installed or not, and got another error "Dependency is not satisfiable: libnss3-1d" im confused as to what is going on, and how i can fix this issue, so i can ultimately install flash.
Can somebody please help me, im dying without being able to watch videos on youtube and other sites that require flash.
Thanks
