confirm clearance of trash bin

I was looking for that option but I couldn't find it. Is there a way to tell KDE that I have to confirm my clearance,...every time I want to empty my trash bin?...
when I empty my trash bin now, kde just erases every data in it without asking...
regards&best thanks

hmm... not really sure about that. the option i get when right clicking on the trash icon is empty trash bin. and logically, to me, it should empty the trash bin with no questions asked since when you went to "delete" a file, you had it "delete" the file to the trash already instead of just deleting the file from your hard drive. windows does the same thing in regards to the recycle bin for me. although, windows recycle bin does have a quick undo delete which the kde trash doesn't have. well i guess you could open the trash and right click the file and do a move to. but i guess i don't really want to say no, but i haven't seen a way to confirm an empty trash bin function.

If you are running RedHat, click on Redhat menu, preferences and file something or other and you will find a place to set this.
