Configuring WordPress to be accessible via http://ip/~user/wpdirectory/

Good afternoon,

How might I go about configuring WordPress to recognize its primary access method as being via http://ip/~user/wpdirectory/ as opposed to http://domain-name.tld/?

I am in the process of setting up a LAMP server and can think of several instances in which this capability would be useful; however, I am unsure whether it would be a matter of simply editing wp-config.php or something more advanced.

Regards,

Yes, just edit wp-config.php, create the database and admin user needed and you're ok
