configuring shorewall (firewall)
 
Hi there everyone.

I have a question for you. I am using ubuntu linux. I used the kynaptic and installed shorewall and when I went to try and do startup at /etc/shorewall at the root shell. I got the following message. -su startup : Command not found. Could anyone help me please

Linux firewall
 
You couid edit it through webmin (http://127.0.0.1:10000) which is usually very helpfull.

There you could insted choose to use 'Linux firewall' which is as simple as activating it and it use default values.

After that go check your protection at http://www.grc.com I think (or search Shields up, ports)

How do I go about doing that. Sorry I am complete newbie when it comes to this
