Configure kppp to automatically run.

I have searched the archives for having kppp to run automatically when the computer requests information from the Internet (browser, mail, etc). If have seen many solutions, all which are vastly different, outdated, and not working.

I have Mandrake 9.1. I run kppp to connect to the Internet. That works fine, but I want it to run automatic like Windows.

It doesn't have to actually dial, just bring up the kppp box where I press connect.

Is there an accurate and simple solution to this situation?
