configure gdm (login) menus

Dear people,

I was yesterday desperately trying to find a way to add a new locale to the gdm login menu. This is a debian sarge system which has 3 menus at login -- options (locales), sessions, and system. I simply could not figure out where are the menus defined.

Can anyone give me a hint?

Thanks in advance

Ott
