Configure and disable ipv6 on opera web browser
I prefer using opera than any other web browser. An I have all plugins installed so I do not want to use any other browser.
I want to disable ipv6 on opera web browser because my internet for some reason doesnt support it so i cant log into hotmail and stuff. I dont know how though. When i type about:config in the opera address bar and i try searching or looking for ipv6 i cant find it. How do I disable ipv6 on opera? |
My understanding tho limited, is that if you do NOT even own IPV6 hardware, it won't even work for you despite the fact that Linux loads it for you. I have it turned off in linux, and windows doesn't even use it either and I use opera/firefox in a 50/50 split.

all you need to do is disable ipv6 module from ever loading by blacklisting it.
while the above poster it theoretically right that it shouldn't make a difference. the web browsers arent written so that that is true. |
