Question configure a perfect Dial Plan in Asterisk

I am working on Asterisk PBX and I am a newbie.
I would like to know how a dial plan can be achieved. What is the easiests way for the call management.

Suggestions are welcome.

You're probly in the wrong place for this type of stuff, look for

More of a voip related question I think, altho it is linux as well. But mainly asterisk...
Look @ Asterisk@Home if its a home setup.
