configure

I am trying to build ardour from source, but when I run ./configure everything goes off without a hitch except at the end this happens

configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
config.status: creating intl/Makefile
config.status: error: cannot find input file: intl/Makefile.in
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for ardour

It means that a Makefile input file is missing from a directory. (this happens from time to time). Perhaps you can download an older version and steal a Makefile.in (from the same directory) and try it in place of the missing file.
