Configuration needed on Slack 9.1 to run an SMTP server on my desktop machine?
 

Ok, in my Win2k install, I ran my own SMTP server using Advanced SMTP Server (shareware proggy). All I had to do then was set my SMTP server in whatever mail client I was using as Localhost, and I could then send mail without signing up for an outside SMTP server.

What would the process be for configuring this in Slack Linux, and what software would you recommend?
