Conexant-Ambit 56k ICH winmodem

I have a sony fx370 laptop and it comes with a

Conexant-Ambit 56k ICH modem

Im unable to dial in Redhat 7.1. Can someone suggest me on what to do ? Im new to linux.

check linmodems.org to make sure it's supported, and get any drivers.
