Computer Not Finding New Arch Linux Install (GRUB)

I am using a computer with Windows 10. I decided to try and install Arch Linux. I did it right, up until installing GRUB. I installed GRUB right, I guess, but when I rebooted, it just went straight to Windows. I don't know what to do here. Any ideas?

You did not say if your hardware is UEFI or BIOS. The boot process is very different. Windows 10 is usually UEFI. I am not too familiar with BIOS. If it is UEFI, you can press one of the F keys during POST to bring up the UEFI boot manager. If you installed the Arch grub correctly, you should see arch as one of the boot options and select it. You did not mention the hardware. For an ASUS MB, the F key is F8. If you made a mistake installing Arch grub, you will not see anything.

Hi.

Do a backup of data, microcoughed-10 and the repair partition if you want to keep them.

Then like put read\search the docs @Arch.

If it doesn't boot to GRUB you could have installed it to the wrong spot... but as Plasmonics you may just need to change some bios settings?

Again, all in the doc's and forums at Arch: https://wiki.archlinux.org/

...have fun!

The results you posted are generally what one sees with one operating system installed UEFI (windows 10) and the other installed with MBR so did you boot and install Arch UEFI? They have excellent documentation at the Arch site and I would start there first.

IMHO

\Side-note: I would never say it( like other : Gentoo, Slackware, BSDs so on are) not for s (and in this case don't know why I'm saying anything as it's more likely M$ trying to control you and hardware (that's $0.04 cents now "in the name of security" ) )but Arch is top notch. More often than not when I search issues for any GNU\Linux Arch mans up!
