Probably the easiest way is to set up a crossover cable between the two machines (you need a crossover cable as opposed to a straightthrough cable to connect one Ethernet card directly to another, in most cases). If you want the other computer to get an IP address automatically, you should set up a DHCP server, but it's easiest to just configure the two machines statically, e.g. make the computer w/ the wireless 192.168.10.1 and the other 192.168.10.2 (I assume you use another subnet for the wireless). Then set 192.168.10.1 as the default gateway for the second computer and make sure that all machines on the wireless LAN (including the router) have the wireless IP of your first computer as the gateway to the 192.168.10.0/24 subnet.
