Completely remove Gnome?
How can I completely remove Gnome? I installed a minimal install of Debian etch, the apt-get install gnome. Now gnome and all its 100s of mb of space needs to go. I have my reasons. Is there a way to remove all that via apt? Im not worried about libraries and stuff because I have not installed anything dependent on them. thanks

aptitude purge gnome (or gnome-desktop or gnome-core, whatever command you used to install it, just use "purge" instead).
