Compiz with white screens

So,
I've tried searching for this problem, but didn't find something that matches..

I've configured everything right, including the video card drivers and etc, but when I start compiz and I start a program ( any ) the program shoes in white. If you maximize the program, eventually you see something...

My card is Intel915G and I'm using Gnome 2.20.2 ( Slackware 12 )

Does anybody have info about this one ?

Best wishes!

Are you using:
compiz --replace
to start?

Found this which may give some clues:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=534140

He seems to think it fixed itself.

I would try: compiz-manager, reinstall compiz, reinstall xorg-x11.

I've also tried compiz-manager yesterday... but still I haven't reinstall compiz nor xorg.. I'll see if that could fix it. Thanks !
