Question Compiling software from source, no man pages are installed

I've compiled a couple of things from source, namely rtorrent and dwm and noticed that man pages do not appear to have been installed, is this normal? And how can I get and install the man pages onto the system?

It happens. You can just copy the manpages in one of the directories specified in $MANPATH. Just put them under the relevant section. For example if the man file is "command.1" you can put it under /usr/share/man/man1/ or /usr/local/share/man/man1/. The file can be gzipped, but it is not mandatory.
