Exclamation Compiling Install

OK,

I'm trying to install Evolution. When a do run the configure script it doesn't complete, I get the following error.

configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH

Do I need to have some compiler software installed? There's some other errors too, are these related to the error returned above?

Other Errors:

checking for aclocal... missing
checking for autoconf...missing
checking for automake...missing
checking for autoheader...missing
checking for makeinfo...missing

Or does someone have a friggin RPM?!?

Thanks in Advance!!

Aaron

sounds like you don't have a compiler installed, or its not finding the correct path..
you could look for an rpm to make it easier.. try http://www.rpmfind.net/

I already tried to install the RPM and it said there were several missing dependancies...

looks as if it might be a good idea to get those dependencies if you don't have them. if the software your trying to install has a web site, or has install/readme files, might want to look over them as they should state what exactly you need to get it installed correctly.
