compiling gnome power manager from source

dkp-supply.c:298: 'capacity' may be used uninitialized in this function

i am stuck with this error in a package that gnome power manager requires. i am crunching /DeviceKit-power-008 from source manually and the first line of the thread is the error im getting.. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

this is the full error

Hm, seriously? Usually gcc prints out an error if Make ends up throwing one. Did you just overlook it? The 'unused' warning wouldn't do that. Even if -Werror were set, then gcc would title that explicitly as an 'error' as opposed to a nonfatal 'warning'. Further up in the output, maybe?
