Compiling FUSE on a QNAP ( kernel 2.6.24 )

Hello,

I`m trying to compile FUSE in order to compile Truecrypt on an intel QNAP system, but awk keeps on erroring on configure like this :

Code:
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating fuse.pc
awk: ./confxQmeqb/subs.awk:2: Unexpected token
config.status: error: could not create fuse.pc
[/share/HDA_DATA/tmp/fuse-2.8.0] #

I`ve tried installing gawk but not luck either, does anyone have got a clue on why awk wouldn`t like the configure syntax ?

cheers,

I know nothing about your system, but you could upgrade your kernel to a more recent version. Fuse itself is part of the kernel, so the only thing that would need to be compiled it the userland module itself.

Hi JulzKB,

Did you solve your fuse installation problem?

Regards, nidkil

Hi Nidkil,

Unfortunately not, I'm still stuck with this "awk" error
