compiling error: can't map file errno=22

I am trying to build a Qt4 application (qBittorrent) on OSX through command line, and get the following after a few minutes of it compiling:

ld: in /System/Library/, can't map file, errno=22
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/Users/tokie/Downloads/qbittorrent-1.1.2/src'
make: *** [sub-src-make_default] Error 2

The program itself needs some frameworks in the /System/Library/Frameworks folder (ApplicationServices, Carbon, AppKit) which are OSX-specific, but the general error itself I think is that it is trying to access a folder which it thinks is a file. Anyone have any idea about how I could get this problem fixed?

Errno 22 is "invalid argument", at least on the x86 architecture, so passing a directory when it expects a file would seem to be a likely cause.

Does qBittorrent have a configure program? If so, the log-files for that might indicate if you have missing libraries or some similar problem. Otherwise, the problem is likely to be due to the ld command-line.

If you re-run make, then you should quickly get a shorter output which tells you, in particular, the ld command which is failing, and this may help you to track down the problem.
