Compiling and installing modules

Alright, so I compiled kernel 2.6.7 on my system, and now every time I try to compile and load a module i get multiple lines in dmesg like this:

nvidia: version magic '2.6.7 preempt PENTIUM4 4KSTACKS gcc-3.3' should be '2.6.7 preempt PENTIUM4 4KSTACKS gcc-3.2'

As I understand it, this implies that I compiled the kernel with one version of gcc and the module with another, but I didn't, I'm entirely positive that I used the same version for both. However I get this message when I try to compile ALSA modules, the NVidia driver, and basically any module that I try to compile from source...

Any ideas?
