Compile PHP w/ XML Support (RedHat)

I'm looking to compile XML w/ PHP 4.2 and Apache 2.0 on my Red Hat 8.0 server, or atleast find a test script I can use to see if it already configured.

The problem, I think, I am having is that I installed Apache and PHP rpm packages during the installation. Since they are already installed I'd rather not start over from scartch and recompile to get everything working. Basically, I'm looking for a pluggin rpm for PHP/Apache or some code to include in the php.ini or httpd.conf files. I'm not even sure that's what I need, but it's good place to start :P

I've been unable to find any online resources at, google, or anywhere else for that matter.
