compile LIRC w/ flyvideo lirc_gpio
finally got lirc to configure using the flyvideo tv card
You will have to use the lirc_gpio kernel module.
Now enter 'make' and 'make install' to compile and install the package.
then make gives me endless lines of garbage like this:
include/linux/i2c.h:605: warning: implicit declaration of function `set_mb'
include/linux/i2c.h:605: error: `current' undeclared (first use in this function)
/root/lirc-0.7.1pre1/drivers/lirc_dev/../../drivers/kcompat.h:163:40: missing binary operator before token "("

use the lirc_gpio kernel module
when do I use it?
where do I use it?
where is this documented?
do I need to compile my kernel with this module
and then configure lirc again? can't I just load it?
