Unhappy Compile GCC 2.9 using GCC 3.x


is it possible, to compile GCC 2.9 using GCC 3.x or 4.x ?

i has try it but lot's of error ... and i dunno how to solve the error
... too much.

i need GCC 2.9 to compile JAVA 1.3.1 source.

hi,

just use crosstool:

http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/

my native gcc is 4.1.0 and with crosstool i got the gcc 2.95.3 and gcc 3.4.4 installed on my laptop.

oooo compiling java from source is a strange one but 1.4.1 will compile with gcc3
